Fun idea to start each school year...
Maddie
Maddie started the 1st grade today! Of course we had to take all of those "first day photo shots". But I also wanted to remember little things about her when she starts each school year so I made this fun little "about me" picture that we can print out and put in her journal.
It's so easy to do...just take a photo with enough space to write on and then in photoshop or some program that allows you to use text on a photo, list the things that are most important to your child at the time. Easy as that!
If you're new to using text on a picture I have created a tutorial of how to do that in Photoshop Elements. Click here for the tutorial.
And here is the tutorial about how to make a stunning black and white photo.
Photo stats for the above photo: ISO400, 30mm lens, f/3.5, 1/1250 shutter speed.
