You all did such a wonderful job this past week with your food photography entries! It was so fun seeing each one come in. (and it made me hungry!) I love that many of you even tried out the tips and techniques that I suggested throughout the week. It's always fun for me to see your progress from what I'm able to teach you.
Let me first announce the 3 honorable mentions...chosen by yours truly. :) First of all, you guys made this a really tough decision. There were SO MANY great entries. I can't tell you how many times I perused the pinterest board trying to make my decision.
So here it is...in no particular order.
Honorable mention #1:

I really love the shallow depth of field focusing on the texture on the raspberry. And the coloring is spot on. Very nice.
Honorable Mention #2:
Photo taken by: Briana Balsam
First of all the colors in this photos are so beautiful and I think it puts a cool spin on the picture that the the focus is on the stem and not the main part of the eggplant. I'm intrigued.
Honorable mention #3:

Deep purple potatoes? That is just cool in and of itself. But beyond that I enjoy how fresh this photo looks with it's colors and the fact that you can actually see the water dripping off her hands. It makes me want to go out and plant a garden.
Congrats to the 3 of you for each winning a copy of my ebook, The Key to Taking Pictures Like a Professional Photographer! Please send me an email so that I have your correct email address to send the book.
And now the photo with the most votes and winner of this weeks contest is...drum roll please...
Rebeca Price
Congrats, Rebecca! You've just won: my ebook, a 30 minutes phone consultation with me, and a $25 Target gift card!! Email me and I will send your book and Target gift card, and details about the consultation via email.

Here is a quick question for everyone...would you rather I attach your full name to your photo entry on the pinterest board or leave it blank like I did this week? Thoughts?
